As part of the expansion of rural high-speed internet in our area, contractors from several internet service providers will be installing fibre lines this summer.
These lines are being installed on the municipal right-of-way alongside the road. Note that the right-of-way extends roughly 10m (33ft) from the centreline of the road.
Residents should be aware that anything encroaching in the right-of-way, including crops, fencing, landscaping, etc., may be disrupted as the new lines are installed. Contractors will do their best to minimize this disruption and will take steps to restore conditions after the work is complete.
