Municipal Facilities
The Middlesex Centre municipal office will be closed over the weekend as usual, and will remain closed on Monday, July 3, 2023, in recognition of Canada Day.
The Komoka Wellness Centre will be closed on Saturday, July 1, 2023, in celebration of Canada Day.
Middlesex Centre's EnviroDepots at Longwoods Rd. and Denfield Rd. will be open on Saturday, July 1, 2023.
Waste Collection
Waste and recycling will be collected on your regular collection day. There is no change because of the holiday.
Fires & Fireworks in Middlesex Centre
Planning for your celebration?
- For fires - only small, outdoor recreational fires are permitted at this time. Ensure your fire is review the quick guide for the open air burning rules
- For fireworks - follow the rules set out in the fireworks by-law, the recommendations in the Consumer Fireworks Chart, and the manufacturers' recommendations for safe discharge.
- Remember: Fireworks are only permitted ON CANADA DAY - not all weekend - unless you have applied for and received an exemption from the by-law.
