VOTING DAY The Muncipal Election will be held on
MONDAY, OCTOBER 25, 2010. Voting will be conducted by the Vote by Mail method.
VOTE BY MAIL
The Municipality of Middlesex Centre will again be utilizing the VOTE BY MAIL alternative method of voting for the 2010 Municipal Election. Instead of traveling to a polling station on Election Day, the ballot box will be brought to your mailbox.
With Vote by Mail, voters can fill out their ballots in the privacy and convenience of their own home. Casting a vote is as easy as mailing a letter!
Voters will receive a Voter Kit in the mail containing all of the materials required to place their vote by mail. The voter simply follows the instructions in their kit, deposits their ballot in the mail using the postage paid response envelope, and the ballots will be delivered to the Municipal Office for tabulating on Election Day.
If you choose not to mail your vote, you may drop-off your ballot at the Municipal Office in Coldstream during regular business hours or in the after hours drop box. There will also be a voting station set up in the Municipal Office in Coldstream on Election Day where you can cast your vote. You will need to bring along the Voter Kit you received in the mail.
For instructions on how to VOTE BY MAIL, please view this online tutorial.
