The Recreation & Facility Services Department is responsible for the administration, maintenance and programming for all recreational facilities within the Municipality.  This includes all municipal parks, community centres, sports fields, rental properties and arenas.  The department works in partnership with local communities, service clubs and resident associations to provide facilities, servicing and programming for all residents of Middlesex Centre.

The Recreation & Facility Services Department consists of two areas, Parks and Facilities.

Community Wellness and Recreation Centre Project

The multi-use facility is planned to be constructed on Glendon Drive in Komoka and will serve individuals and groups throughout Middlesex Centre.

Early in 2009, an Architect was retained to design a conceptual plan for the Community Wellness and Recreation Centre.  The resulting conceptual plan was presented at two public information sessions.  The plan is now available for viewing below or at the Municipal Office in Coldstream.  The facility includes a fitness centre, walking track, two ice rinks, library, community rooms and gymnasium for use by all members of the community.
